Map dumfries and galloway.png

Dumfries and Galloway is the first region novice ghost hunters encounter. Even in this first region, there are many adventures to be had ... ghosts to be caught ... decisions to be made.

Dumfries and Galloway is separated into four normal hunting locations, plus two Raiding locations and a Special Events location. The travel costs for each location are a one-time payment. After you have unlocked a location and paid the travel costs once (after 29 November 2009), you can freely travel to that location whenever you choose.

Normal locations

Name XP needed Cost (£) Description
Castle McCloud 0 £0 Castle McCloud is your typical Scottish castle. Full of history ... a history of ghosts that is. The most common ghosts can be found here.

Loch Trool 2,000 £2,000 Not as famous as Loch Ness, Loch Trool is nevertheless a dangerous place where ambitious special agents will encounter a variety of ghosts.

Glenluck Abbey 8,000 £3,000 Once the home of a secret order, it is now inhabited by rare ghosts. A dangerous place, since ghosts might not be so friendly in there.

Castle McDougan 15,000 £5,000 The McDougans were a clan of brave warriors. Late at night the battle cries can still be heard.

Castle McCloud nightmare mode 1,200,000 £60,000 BEWARE! Only for the daring agents. The ghosts inside Castle McCloud will steal your GBP, XP, and Ghost Plasma if you fail to catch them!

Raid locations

Name XP needed Cost (£) Description
McDougan gamemaster room 2,000 £0 Raiding location — Lord McDougan was an avid chess player. On his way to becoming a grandmaster, he had one of the many rooms of Castle McDougan transformed into a giant chessboard. After his demise by his not-so-faithful butler, he now has an eternity to study new chess openings and plays with his fellow ghosts who serve as chess pieces.

Sunken Ship 2,000 £0 Raiding location — Deep beneath Loch Trool lies a nameless sunken ship. There are rumours that within the wreck are ancient treasures, as well as the evil Jonas Davey, the devil of the deep seas!
