Map borders.png

Borders is the second region available to agents of S.C.O.T.C.H., once they have at least 80,000 XP. It opened to visitors on 18 February 2009.

A Ticket to Borders is required before an agent can cross into Castle McWallace, the first location in Borders.

Like previous areas, Borders is separated into four normal hunting locations, plus three raiding locations and a special events location. The travel costs are a one-time payment. After you have unlocked a location and paid the travel costs once, you can freely travel to that location whenever you choose.

Normal locations

Name XP needed Cost (£) Description
Castle McWallace 80,000 £15,000 Castle McWallace has a huge cellar that can store many a barrel of magic potions. No surprise that ghosts are attracted to this place.

Kilwittig House 200,000 £25,000 Kilwittig House was once the residence of Lord Kilwittig and is now haunted by many ghosts that lost duels at dusk against him.

Loch Muir 400,000 £30,000 Some strange ghosts can be found at night at Loch Muir. This is a location only for daring agents with nerves of steel.

Castle McKenny 700,000 £35,000 Castle McKenny is known for a very mysterious ghost-sighting. Witnesses have sworn that they have seen a huge monster near the castle.

Loch Muir nightmare mode 75,000,000 £30,000,000 Despite its location in R2 Borders, Loch Muir nightmare mode is really intended for those players who are comfortable hunting in R6, Central.

Raid locations

Name XP needed Cost (£) Description
Elemental cave 400,000 0 Raiding location — Close to Loch Muir lies a small cave in which the four elements are very dominant. So dominant, that some ghosts have been able to adopt to the elements.

Ghost Rock Concert 80,000 0 Raiding location — When the time is right, many ghosts gather in the cellar halls of Castle McWallace enjoying a good dram while listening to the famous ghost rock band "The Spooks." This event gives a whole new meaning to "whisky on the rocks!"

Kilwittig Theatre 80,000 0 Raiding location — Kilwittig House was well known for its theatre. Many Shakespearian plays were performed there and some of the resident ghosts still like to perform. At the moment, they are rehearsing the famous play The Wizard of Ghoz. One ghost even brought his ghost puppy along to play the part of Toto.

Lost island 80,001 0 Raiding location — S.C.O.T.C.H. intelligence has discovered a small island off the Eastern coast of Scotland. Scans have confirmed ghost activity and plama emissions, however we have not encountered any ghosts there, yet. The Q-section has been extra busy and built a portal that can be used every 23 hours to venture to this mysterious place. But be warned, you should travel there as a team of agents, since we expect strange things to be going on there, not to mention the vulcano.

Special event locations
