Description


Once a high priestress in Egypt Ta-apep has come to Scotland in a sarcophagus that is now displayed at the Egyptian exhibition. Now that she has been freed she will start her reign of terror once again.

Assist clicks

It takes 140 assist clicks to capture a Priestess Ta-apep. This can be reduced by the amount of the monsterslayer stat in your setup.

Additional information


Cauldron

You must use a cauldron with an active piece of blood plasma in it to be able to attract the Priestess Ta-apep.

The "blood cauldrons" that you might use include:

(Reminder: The "red cauldrons" also use blood plasma, but don't use one of them if you are trying to attract Priestess Ta-apep. She doesn't respond to rr light in your setup; she responds to sanguine scent!)

Bait

If you want to attract Priestess Ta-apep, use a bait with the sanguine scent attribute, such as the crimson Mary mocktail or the liquid ember magic potion.

Location

The Priestess Ta-apep can only be captured in Castle McCloud nightmare mode, in Dumfries and Galloway.

Remember that you need at least 1,200,000 XP to venture into Castle McCloud nightmare mode!

Special events

During special events such as haunted weeks, the Priestess Ta-apep can also be captured in Castle McIngverson nightmare mode, also in Dumfries and Galloway.

The Priestess Ta-apep has been known to occasionally drop the following types of ghost loot:

Talent trees

You can earn one talent tree point by capturing 30 Priestess Ta-apeps (after 7 July 2014, when the Priestess Ta-apep was added to the talent tree ghosts).
