Virtual Scotland

Virtual Scotland is divided into regions, each of which can contain:

Players need to reach a certain rank and have a minimum amount of XP to visit each of the locations.

At the start of the game, S.C.O.T.C.H. rookies are deployed in the Dumfries and Galloway region, as the ghosts that roam that region are mostly weak ghosts. As agents gain experience, they can travel to other regions to hunt ghosts that are more challenging to capture.

Currently, Dumfries and Galloway, Borders, Strathclyde, Lothian, Fife, Central and Tayside are unlocked.

Once you have unlocked a location and paid the travel costs once (after 27 November 2009), you can freely travel to that location whenever you choose.
