Description

The Lady Macbeth ghost wanders the corridors of Greymalkin castle, still wringing her hands and trying to removed that damned spot ... who knew such things survived the transition to ghosthood?

Theft risks

The Lady Macbeth ghost may steal GTP (£££), XP, plasma or bait from you if you fail to capture it.

Using Nessy's, one of the Shadetouch family, or a mocktail as bait will prevent the bait being stolen.

In general, increasing the security measures of your setup can help reduce your total losses. Adding a stat like security measures, though, can hurt your stat totals in other areas. You must decide if increasing your security measures stat to reduce the chance of theft by ghosts like Lady Macbeth ghost is worth sacrificing other stats in your setup.

Mystic resistance

The Lady Macbeth ghost is resistant to mystic power.

Mystic-resistant ghosts have three primary types:

  • Ghosts that can be caught with a strong raw-power setup
  • Ghosts that can only be caught with a combination of willpower (to overcome their mystic resistance) and high mystic power
  • Ghosts that require brute force in your setup to activate before they can be caught

Use a high mystic power, high willpower setup when you are trying to catch the Lady Macbeth ghost.

Brute force may also strengthen your setup when you are trying to catch the Lady Macbeth ghost.

Infernal vulnerability

The Lady Macbeth ghost is vulnerable to infernal mechanisms.

If you catch this ghost while using a infernal trap mechanism, you have a chance to trigger its vulnerability bonus, overdrive.

When the overdrive bonus is triggered, your hunting cooldown is immediately re-set, so you get an additional hunt.

The Lady Macbeth ghost can be captured in region 6, Central, at:

Drops

The Lady Macbeth ghost has been known to occasionally drop the following types of ghost loot:

Mockery loot

If you have the mockery stat in your setup (through the talent tree bonus or because of an accessory, companion or contract with the stat} you may occasionally have between 2 and 10 mocktails added to other loot drops from the Lady Macbeth ghost. Because these mockery drops are so dependent on a player's individual setup and cannot be relied upon, none of the mocktails are included in the loot list above. The entire list of possible mocktails that may be dropped is on the mocktails page.

Mockery stat drops can be distinguished from a normal loot drop as follows:

A standard loot drop of a mocktail     5x Cherry bomb
A mockery stat caused] loot drop of a mocktail     5 Devil driver
Snowflake loot

If you have the snowfall stat in your setup (because of an accessory, companion or contract with the stat on it), the Lady Macbeth ghost may occasionally and randomly drop you a snowflake as loot. Because these snowfall-driven drops are so dependent on a player's individual setup and cannot be relied upon, snowflake loot drops are not specifically included in the list above.

Vintage connoisseur loot

If you have the vintage connoisseur stat in your setup (through an accessory, companion or contract with the stat} you may occasionally have between 2 and 10 bottles of a non-Nessy's loot potion or of Shadetouch blue or Shadetouch purple added to other loot drops from the Lady Macbeth ghost. Because these connoisseur drops are so dependent on a player's individual setup and cannot be relied upon, none of the non-Nessy's loot potions involved are included in the loot list above. The entire list of possible bottles that can be dropped is found on the non-Nessy's loot potions page.

Both normal drops of a particular non-Nessy's loot potion and connoisseur drops of a particular loot potion show the same way in your journal:

16 x Shadetouch purple (10 bonus loot)
