No theft risk

There is no risk that the ghost of Christmas yet to come will steal GTP (£££), XP, bait, or ghost plasma if you fail to catch it.

Mystic resistance

The ghost of Christmas yet to come is resistant to mystic power.

Mystic-resistant ghosts have three primary types:

  • Ghosts that can be caught with a strong raw-power setup
  • Ghosts that can only be caught with a combination of willpower (to overcome their mystic resistance) and high mystic power
  • Ghosts that require brute force in your setup to activate before they can be caught

Use a high mystic power, high willpower setup when you are trying to catch the Ghost of Christmas yet to come.

Brute force may also strengthen your setup when you are trying to catch the ghost of Christmas yet to come.

The ghost of Christmas yet to come is primarily one of the second type of mystic-resistant ghosts. You do not need a huge amount of willpower, just some.

You do need a lot of patience and be able to be tolerant of missing ghosts while you are hunting the ghost of Christmas yet to come.

Location

The ghost of Christmas yet to come can only be captured during certain special events such as celebration weeks in region 1, Dumfries and Galloway in the Winter wonderland.

History


  • 18 December 2012: The ghost of Christmas yet to come was introduced into Virtual Scotland.
  • 16 December 2013: The ghost of Christmas yet to come began to drop lucky boxes and snowflakes.
  • 14 December 2014: The ghost of Christmas yet to come was first spotted at the North pole, at the beginning of Celebration week 5.
  • 14 December 2015: It was discovered that the ghost of Christmas yet to come didn't like the North Pole, and has gone back to being just in the Winter wonderland.
