Location

The ghost hound can be captured in region 5, Fife, at:

Special event location

During certain special events, the ghost hound can also be captured in the McDuff lighthouse special event location.

Light

The ghost hound can only be seen in ultraviolet light. Stack your setup, including a camera, lens, and a flashlight, with uv light if you are trying to take a picture of the ghost hound.

The ghost hound has been known to occasionally drop the following types of ghost loot:

Counterparts

The ghost hound's midnight counterpart is the hallucinogenic H.O.U.N.D. ghost.

The ghost hound's non-midnight counterpart is the H.O.U.N.D. ghost.

Mystic resistance

The ghost hound is resistant to mystic power.

Mystic-resistant ghosts have three primary types:

  • Ghosts that can be caught with a strong raw-power setup
  • Ghosts that can only be caught with a combination of willpower (to overcome their mystic resistance) and high mystic power
  • Ghosts that require brute force in your setup to activate before they can be caught

Use a high mystic power, high willpower setup when you are trying to catch the Ghost hound.

Brute force may also strengthen your setup when you are trying to catch the Ghost hound.

  • 14 May 2012: The ghost hound was first seen in Virtual Scotland'.
  • 23 October 2012: The ghost hound was first seen in McDuff lighthouse.
