Description

The gambling ghosts are a side-game — an additional game you can play within Ghost Trappers if you want to, but that will not affect your progress in the normal Ghost Trappers universe.

Mystic power

Your ability to play the gambling mini-game, and which ghosts you will attract is all deptermined by the mystic power in your setup.

You need to have at least 110 mystic power in your setup before you will attract any of the gambling ghosts.

Mystic-power reduction locations

There are a bunch of locations that reduce the amount of mystic power you have in your setup (reducing your mystic power by 70 or 80, for example).

When you are in these locations, the gambling mini-game ignores that mystic reduction —it counts your total mystic power before any reduction is applied to determine which ghost you attract.

Anatomy of gameplay

When your mystic power is at 110 or above, you have a chance to attract one of the gambling ghosts. align=right

Once you attract one of the gambling ghosts, you must decide whether to bet (20 Nessy's) or to discard.

If you choose to bet, then you must make a selection: Hat number 1, Hat number 2, or Hat number 3.

Then the game displays the prize level you have won: Bronze, Silver, or Gold.

Stats and Equipment

High roller stat

The high roller stat increases the chance that you will receive a better item from whichever list of prizes you win from — in other words, that you receive a contract document rather than some bait or a currency -- while playing the gambling mini-game.

Eagle eye

The eagle eye stat increases the chance that you will pick a better list of prizes — in other words, that you will pick the Silver hat rather than the Bronze hat, or the Gold hat instead of the Silver hat — when playing the gambling mini-game.

Equipment

The equipment that you can win and/or create from parts found while playing the gambling mini-game include:

Other equipment also added the high roller stat and the eagle eye stat; consult the stat pages for more information.
