Description

Don’t be fooled, he only brings misery.

No theft risk

There is no risk that the festive reaper will steal GTP (£££), XP, bait, or ghost plasma if you fail to catch it.

Additional information

Location

The festive reaper can be captured only during Celebration week special events in region 1, Dumfries and Galloway, in the Winter wonderland.

Mystic resistance

The festive reaper is resistant to mystic power.

Mystic-resistant ghosts have three primary types:

  • Ghosts that can be caught with a strong raw-power setup
  • Ghosts that can only be caught with a combination of willpower (to overcome their mystic resistance) and high mystic power
  • Ghosts that require brute force in your setup to activate before they can be caught

Use a high mystic power, high willpower setup when you are trying to catch the Festive reaper.

Brute force may also strengthen your setup when you are trying to catch the Festive reaper.

To capture the festive reaper, you should stack your setup with willpower and high mystic power.

Drops

The festive reaper has been known to occasionally drop the following types of ghost loot:

Snowflake loot

If you have the snowfall stat in your setup (because of a bait, companion or contract with the stat on it), the festive reaper may occasionally and randomly drop you a snowflake as loot. Because these snowfall-driven drops are so dependent on a player's individual setup and cannot be relied upon, snowflake loot drops are not specifically included in the list above.

Mockery loot

If you have the mockery stat in your setup from a bait, companion or contract with the stat (or any other type of equipment} you may occasionally have between 2 and 10 mocktails added to other loot drops from the festive reaper. Because these mockery drops are so dependent on a player's individual setup and cannot be relied upon, none of the mocktails are included in the loot list above. The entire list of possible mocktails that may be dropped is on the mocktails page.

Mockery stat drops can be distinguished from a normal loot drop as follows:

A standard loot drop of a mocktail     5x Cherry bomb
A mockery stat-caused loot drop of a mocktail     5 Devil driver

Vintage connoisseur loot

If you have the vintage connoisseur stat in your setup (through a companion or contract or other piece of equipment with the stat} you may occasionally have between 2 and 10 bottles of a non-Nessy's loot potion or of Shadetouch blue or Shadetouch purple added to other loot drops from the festive reaper. Because these connoisseur drops are so dependent on a player's individual setup and cannot be relied upon, none of the non-Nessy's loot potions involved are included in the loot list above. The entire list of possible bottles that can be dropped is found on the non-Nessy's loot potions page.

Both normal drops of a particular non-Nessy's loot potion and connoisseur drops of a particular loot potion show the same way in your journal:

16 x Shadetouch purple (10 bonus loot)

Counterparts

The festive reaper is part of the reaper family of ghosts.
