Description

The Christmas datapad is an accessory: You can find it under the Inventory Blue arrow right.png Special items tab from the main game menu.

Effects

The Christmas datapad accessory gives you the following benefits for your trap setup:

  • a 2% chance of gaining superbuff each time you capture a ghost and enhancing your next hunt with additional raw power, mystic power, and an increased chance for loot

Stacking

You cannot stack multiple Christmas datapads together in your inventory. Only one christmas datapad to a customer, please.

You can use the Christmas datapad simultaneously with all other equipment (including all other accessories) in your inventory.

Disabling/Re-enabling

You must force Ghost Trappers to re-load your setup after adding the Christmas datapad to your inventory to make sure that its stats are included in the calculation of your setup's total stats.

The easiest way to force the re-load is to first disable the Christmas datapad (by clicking on the disable button next to it in your Inventory Blue arrow right.png Special items screen), and then re-enable the Christmas datapad by clicking on the enable button.

You can later disable the Christmas datapad at any time if its stats do not help with your current objective, or to re-enable the Christmas datapad again when you want its stats included in your setup by following the same procedures.

Acquisition

Loot

You can only receive the Christmas datapad accessory if it is dropped for you as loot. The Christmas datapad may occasionally be dropped as loot in all locations in Virtual Scotland and in Alien visitors around December 24 and 25 each year by the Santa alien.

History

  • 24 December 2014: The Christmas datapad was first added to the available accessories in Virtual Scotland.
