Description
Castle McKenny is known for a very mysterious ghost-sighting. Witnesses have sworn that they have seen a huge monster near the castle.
Requirements
You must have at least 700,000 XP and 35,000 £ to be able to travel to Castle McKenny. This is a one-time payment, and once you have made that payment once (after 28 November 2009), you can freely travel between Castle McKenny and any other Virtual Scotland locations you have unlocked and paid the travel fee for.

Special ghosts
The Heartbreaking temptress ghost listed above is a special ghost because of the difficulty in catching it.
Special, gift, and seasonal ghosts can also be trapped in Castle McKenny, since they can be found in all non-raiding locations in Virtual Scotland. The special ghosts include such ghosts as Ghost Nessy, Cu Sith, Kelpie, Selkie, Glowing Ghost Nessy, Howling Cu Sith, Luring Kelpie, and Moonlight Selkie, as well as the Friendship ghost, Love ghost, and Birthday ghost.

Loot
Loot is occasionally dropped in Castle McKenny (and in all non-raiding locations) by the local ghosts, by special ghosts and by all of the ghost monsters (original, elemental, jurassic monsters, vampire lords and ladies, and the knights of the round table).
As experienced players, agents of S.C.O.T.C.H. hunting in Castle McKenny will recognize that which ghosts drop which loot can change without notice. If you have a loot drop not mentioned here, please let the wiki sysop know so that a correction can be made.
Plasma (of all sorts), chrono crystal fragments, magic potions (including Nessy's Golden Reserve), and some companions are all occasionally dropped here. See the loot page for information about the loot items that are widely available in Virtual Scotland.
Mockery loot
Players with the mockery stat in their setup (through the talent tree bonus or because of an accessory, companion or contract with the stat attribute), will occasionally have a random number (between 2 and 10) of one of the mocktails available in-game added to other drops of loot. Because these mockery drops are so dependent on a player's individual setup and cannot be relied upon, the possibility of a mockery drop is not listed specifically for any of the ghosts in Castle McKenny.
