Description

Count McIngverson has a very dark secret that no living soul is brave enough to speak out loud. Many of the servants have been found dead with two red dots on their necks...

Castle McIngverson only appears a few times a year, during special events. The rest of the time, guests of Count McIngverson are trapped with him and unable to escape...

Requirements

All agents of S.C.O.T.C.H. are able to travel to Castle McIngverson, regardless of how much XP they have.

Travel

There is no cost to travel to or from Castle McIngverson at the beginning and end of a special event.

There is also no cost to travel between Castle McIngverson and the other special event locations during the event. Travelling to a normal hunting location for the first time from Castle McIngverson during a special event will cost the standard amount.

Special ghosts

Special, gift, and seasonal ghosts can also be trapped in Castle McIngverson, since they can be found in all non-raiding locations in Virtual Scotland.

Mythic-creature ghosts

The special ghosts include such Nessy's-loving ghosts as the Ghost Nessy, Cu Sith, Kelpie, Selkie, Glowing Ghost Nessy, Howling Cu Sith, Luring Kelpie, Moonlight Selkie, Glaistig ghost, Green glaistig ghost, the Banshee ghost and the Shrieking banshee ghost.

Randomly-appearing and prize ghosts

In addition, the Golden ghost, the Shiny golden ghost, the Rainbow ghost, the Magic Rainbow ghost, and the Star rainbow ghost are all available (in very small numbers) to be caught in Castle McIngverson.

During special events in the winter wonderland, the Aurora ghost may be captured, while the rainbow ghosts, magic rainbow ghosts, and star rainbow ghosts take a vacation in an exotic hideaway.

Gift ghosts

The gift ghosts that are available are the Friendship ghost, Love ghost, Birthday ghost, Get well ghost and the Hope ghost. During the Christmas holiday season, the Christmas elf ghost is also available to be gifted.

Rewards information

Rewards information for those special and seasonal ghosts are also available at the page about all non-raiding locations and the ghosts that can appear in them.

Seasonal special ghost calendar

To find out when (and which) seasonal ghosts may be available next, check out the current seasonal ghost calendar.

Loot

Loot is occasionally dropped in Castle McIngverson (and in all non-raiding locations) by the local ghosts, by special ghosts and by all of the ghost monsters (original, elemental, jurassic monsters, vampire lords and ladies, and the knights of the round table).

As experienced players, agents of S.C.O.T.C.H. hunting in Castle McIngverson will recognize that which ghosts drop which loot can change without notice. If you have a loot drop not mentioned here, please let the wiki sysop know so that a correction can be made.

Plasma (of all sorts), chrono crystal fragments, magic potions (including Nessy's Golden Reserve), and some companions are all occasionally dropped here. See the loot page for information about the loot items that are widely available in Virtual Scotland.

Mockery loot

If you have the mockery stat in your setup (through the talent tree bonus or because of an accessory, companion or contract with the stat} you may occasionally have between 2 and 10 mocktails added to other loot drops from the ghosts in Castle McIngverson. Because these mockery stat drops are so dependent on a player's individual setup and cannot be relied upon, none of the mocktails are included in any loot lists for Castle McIngverson. The entire list of possible mocktails that may be dropped is on the mocktails page.

Mockery drops can be distinguished from a normal loot drop as follows:

A standard loot drop of a mocktail     5x Cherry bomb
A mockery loot drop of a mocktail     5 Devil driver

Snowflake loot

If you have the snowfall stat in your setup (because of an accessory, companion or contract with the stat), ghosts in Castle McIngverson may occasionally and randomly drop you a snowflake as loot. Because these snowfall-driven drops are so dependent on a player's individual setup and cannot be relied upon, snowflake loot drops are not specifically included in any lists on this page or on the individual ghost pages.

Vintage connoissesur loot

If you have the vintage connoisseur stat in your setup (through an accessory, companion or contract with the stat} you may occasionally have between 2 and 10 bottles of a non-Nessy's loot potion or of Shadetouch blue or Shadetouch purple added to other loot drops in Castle McIngverson. Because these connoisseur drops are so dependent on a player's individual setup and cannot be relied upon, none of the non-Nessy's loot potions involved are included in the loot list above. The entire list of possible bottles that can be dropped is found on the non-Nessy's loot potions page.

Both normal drops of a particular non-Nessy's loot potion and connoisseur drops of a particular loot potion show the same way in your journal:

16 x Shadetouch purple (10 bonus loot)

Specific loot drops

Some of the specific loot items that may be dropped in Castle McIngverson include:

Souvenirs

The following souvenirs are normally dropped in Castle McIngverson during special events:

Additional souvenir loot

During Haunted week 12, you may also find the following souvenirs dropped in Castle McIngverson on the specific dates:

Souvenir Collection Ghost Date

The souvenirs of the following collections can be found in all non-raiding locations, including in Castle McIngverson:

S.C.O.T.C.H. HQ

S.C.O.T.C.H. HQ is an interesting place, with treasures to be found in many different corners of its outpost in Castle McIngverson:

Bar

At the bar in S.C.O.T.C.H. HQ in Castle McIngverson, Charles the bartender has a more limited selection available in Castle McIngverson than in many other locations.

You cannot buy any of the usual magic potions from the green family. Silver star green, Moonshadow green, Moormist green, and Glengreen green are not available for sale in Castle McIngverson.

Charles has a selection of recipes available for purchase if you haven't filled out your recipe library yet.

He is also always ready to help with your mixology needs, 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. Just bring him the magic potions and the appropriate mixer, and Charles will have a batch of your favourite mocktail ready for you almost instantaneously.

Charles can offer you a refund on bottles of Highland Pride if you'd like.

Bar history

The Green Goddess mocktail was available for purchase during Haunted Week III in the bar at S.C.O.T.C.H. HQ in Castle McIngverson, at £2,000 per bottle.

During Haunted Week IV, Charles again made the Green goddess mocktail for agents of S.C.O.T.C.H., but the price had increased to £3,000. As from Haunted Week V, the Green goddess mocktail is no longer for sale at the bar in Castle McIngverson.

Highland Pride, a previous special bait, was not available for purchase during Haunted Week III. Some lucky agents may have received some bottles of Highland Pride as part of a ghost loot drop during Haunted Week III.

Highland Pride was again available only as a loot drop during Haunted Week IV.
