The black swan ghost's non-midnight counterpart is the white swan ghost.

Mystic resistance

The black swan ghost is resistant to mystic power.

Mystic-resistant ghosts have three primary types:

  • Ghosts that can be caught with a strong raw-power setup
  • Ghosts that can only be caught with a combination of willpower (to overcome their mystic resistance) and high mystic power
  • Ghosts that require brute force in your setup to activate before they can be caught

Use a high mystic power, high willpower setup when you are trying to catch the Black swan ghost.

Brute force may also strengthen your setup when you are trying to catch the Black swan ghost.

Bait

The black swan ghost is another party ghost that does not require mocktails as bait. It can be caught using everything from silver star green to Nessy's platinum edition as bait.
