Accessories are special items with stats that have an effect on your setup as long as they are in your inventory; they do not have to be actively selected to work.
Different accessories add different stats to help with different aspects of your ghost hunting experience.
By default, all accessories start out as enabled. This means that unless you specifically disable an accessory, its benefits will be added to your other setup details.
There are also a few accessories that can only be enabled in your setup; you cannot disable them.
You can disable most accessories. See below for the list of accessories that cannot be disabled.
Why would you disable an accessory? The usual reasons include:
- Wanting to attract lower-attraction ghosts (so turning off accessories that add an attraction bonus to your setup)
- Wanting to attract fewer secret ghosts (so turning off accessories that add any color light to your setup)
- Wanting to attract fewer midnight ghosts (so turning off accessories that add midnight attraction
